I work for an organization that is serious about changing the conversation on domestic violence, a widely tolerated criminal activity in our nation. Tracy Chapman's songs and writing advance a way to think about women, justice and savage tolerance of our world on issues of poverty, violence, and basic human rights through the arts, etc.

Our organization has changed the platform for how police and prosecutors respond to domestic battery across the U.S. and worldwide. The work started by our co-founders is revolutionary. But the work is far from over. As we push on, one of our co- founders is facing terminal cancer. We are looking to launch a highflying campaign and deeply memorable that catapults us to continue the work that must be done: end gender-targeted violence. Tracy's art and music is what we need.
