I was at the concert of Lyon, les nuits de Fourvières in july 2009,
it was just AMAZING !
i had made this little review of it :

Image

1 -Say Hallelujah
2- For My Lover, then she kindly said some few words in French “Merci beaucoup”, and realized how amazing place Fourvière Theater was. Her band did walk up from the city to the hill ... she wish she could do too ! ... Especially with that weather, she is glad the rain has finaly stopped. [ it’s a sign from gods she’s a goddess !]
3- Something To See
4- Mountains O'things, she started after counting in French « un, deux, trois, quatre » [OMG, she even knows how to count to 4 ! hihihi]
5-Sing for you, that she played on her little guitar, after searching some words and ended by...”There is nothing to say, just sing along with me if you want” [and we all did well !]
6- Baby, can i hold you [i never knew i could wistle that loud!]
7- You’re the one, that she played sat on her beat box, with just a bass, no chords at all...but with her crazy dancing rasta hair dancing [OMG where is her face? Is she that deep-rooted in her music, her hair can sing by itself? Hihihi]
8- Save us all, about religion, “funny how we are expecting to be saved by people who are waiting from us to save them...” (many laughts in the audience)
9- Neil Young - Heart of Gold(cover), on her jumbo guitar, country style set.
10- The Promise, just her alone on the guitar [the very first time i cry in a gig, from my eyes empty of tears, she seems to be playing in a halo of light,...it’s not a sign anymore : SHE IS A GODDESS !]
11- Our Bright Future
12- Fast cars, after a joke on his bassist “a man that shows outside what he has inside (laughts) ...but no he has nothing to hide, just a fashion man”
13- America [what a lovely bottom she has in just a simple jeans pants...ooops, i mean what an energy ! she literally KICKED the song !]
14- She’s got her ticket, on her electric guitar and beats of clappings. A group of the audience supported her on “oh oh ohs” and she asked what that actually meant as she already heard it...ALL the audience took back the “oh oh oh” LOUDER !
15- Talking about revolution, after what ALL the audience stood up and started to play with cushions by throwing all of them in the air [AMAZING!... ooops she almost received one in her head, hey guys be careful !!]
16- Give me one reason, on black electric guitar [...interesting, i never heard that longer version...on a funny bang style !]
(encore)
17- Telling stories, on the black electric guitar [...AND plait shacking !]
(ENCORE, ENCOOOOOORE !)
18- (Bob Marley cover) - Get Up Stand Up

edit : sorry, if Ela is still the owner of her lines?
Ask her if needed.
If she's agree she will let you know about her review of her gig in Germany.

Ania,

Good Reviews. Now I have some idea of what its like to watch Tracy in concert. Hope to have the opportunity to see her "Live" someday. But in the meantime, Thanks, for giving me some idea of what its like to be in the audeience of Tracy's show.

And once again, you made me blush. Stop It.

Hope there will be more great shows like this in Tracy's future. Thanks again for sharing your "JOY" with us. :D

I was in Sopot on July 5.
Tracy opened the concert with "Mountains O'Things". In the second part she played Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog". But the most memorable was "Behind the Wall" that she sang a cappella. As some of you might know, the name of the stage is Opera Leśna, in Polish: Forest Opera. Indeed, it's located in the heart of a forest. So, as Tracy sang, we could hear the birds singing between the phrases of the song. The impression was amazing, even newspapers on the following they wrote about the birds. Unforgettable.
